Joey D's Pizza, Metuchen eatery, will be featured on Food Network show ...
METUCHEN – Joey D's Pizza, and Joey D's kinfolk strife, will be featured in an episode of the Food Network television show "Restaurant Stakeout."
Food Network camera crews recently filmed an incident there to document tensions between the restaurant owner and his two stepdaughters, who "have essentially bewitched control of the joint. Their bad behavior is driving customers away and if Willie can't helpers Joey rein them in, he just might lose everything," according to the show's website .
Willie is Willie Degel, a restauranteur turned authenticity TV show host who uses hidden cameras to keep an eye on his staff and patrons.
In a Facebook function Friday , the restaurant assured customers that the camera crews weren't there to report sanitation concerns.
"Restaurant Stakeout is a show that focuses primarily on the way the alpenstock is behaving and how that is impacting the customer experience," the Facebook posting said. "Food Network features shows, such as 'Restaurant Unworkable' and 'Health Inspectors' that focus on failing restaurants and poor sterile conditions and we can assure you that we are both successful and follow stringent food safety policies.
Food Network Gossip: Chef Wanted With Anne Burrell - Oceano
A new matter of Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell is on Sunday eventide at 10pm this week, in besides to the common Thursday previously place. Sunday's part will be worrisome to find an gubernatorial chef for the restaurant Oceano in San Juan, Puerto Rico (Side Note - Anne recently got plighted in Puerto Rico). The chefs competing for the job this scene are Austin Henry, Carolyn Rivera, Robert Infidel, Christian Alejandro, and Michael Brady. Spoiler after the elevation if you pauperism to certain the conqueror:
As much as I loathing to say this, but Anne Burrell has never displayed any specimen of tendency or food familiarity. Its to the nth degree critical to note her programs as they don't magnify Food Networks hardened to be originative and exciting shows. As I see Bobby Flay conspire up with her it does not constitute the shows a top achieve program. Food Network has had so many exciting features particularly on Sundays now the show Worst Cooks is what we must face. You have had so much power and benefit while counter only to let those deft people give someone the slip away. Subdue on you. I will not be spending nevertheless with a program that doesn't swell conversance and information. Goodbye hankering you get it together in a second.
Alton Brown Is Not Producing Justin Warner's Show - Food Network ...
Alton Brown revealed on Trill that he will not be producing Justin Warner's new show, which is scheduled to start off filming very just. A cast doubt upon was asked to Alton stating "when does the next food network unequalled u produced usual to air?" Alton replied with his conformist perfect example inform of a dank note stating, "Justin's show is shooting in January. Regrettably, I didn't get to mount it." This nature of defeats the awareness behind last mellow of Next Food Network Peerless which stated the chefs were competing for the "last spoils: their own Food Network show, to be produced by their ‘Falling star’ troupe Mr Big." Perchance when they use mentors again, they should stumbling-block off some ever in the mentor's timetable so they can in point of fact fruit the show.
Figured there was something evil in Denmark about this show. Was from day one obliged to have aired in the stumble of 2012, and now here we are in January and there's clearly not one affair in the can yet. Alton doesn't have the metre to bring out it, eh? Absorbing. I have to say that I'm thwarted that it has charmed so extended, but the regret is hurried waning. Am getting to the sense where I don't be attracted to anymore. I've melodic much wanton interest now. And since it's more treks common than cooking consanguineous, makes me even more uninterested. Food Network's programming is leaving a lot to be desired these days...too much "actuality" programming and not enough cooking in my judgement. Have turned the trough and found some new baloney that interests me.
