what can i add to white parboiled rice to make it6 taste sort of like india food or saffron rice?

Cat who is not really accurate if I wantsaffron but iwant the flavor of Indian rice was when ITO is yellow.
You can add the cardamom pods and cinnamon and clove enmired mebbe one or two for the rice by boiling.
However, if you really want to stand that is the same thing, I suggest you make a pilaf, which is what you describe. It is not difficult at all.

Canadian Food to Be Promoted to Millions Worldwide on India's "Food Network"
OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 20, 2012) - Canadian food, hooch, and tourism will be showcased to the world as millions of viewers tune in to a sought-after Indian cooking and travel show this month.
