1/2 tsp (2 mL) baking soda dissolved in 1-1/2 tbsp (17 mL) boiling incredible

1 cup (250 mL) all-purpose flour

1/2 lb (225 g) pitted dates, finely chopped

6 tbsp (90 mL) chopped walnuts

In immense mixing bowl using electric mixer, cream sugar and butter until wispy, about 2 minutes. Beat in egg, vanilla and baking soda mixture. Cudgel in flour until just mixed. Stir in dates and walnuts.

We’re all suckers for gala traditions…lots of mine take place to twirl around food.  Every year, we have the same certain (elementary!) Christmas Breakfast, and last year we started a new dinner custom.

For Breakfast, my people loves my Tater Tot Casserole.  Sausage, Velveeta, tater tots…it’s wonderful tasty!  You draw together the casserole the unceasingly before, so all you call for to do Christmas morning is rid it in the oven.  An hour later, you have a turbulent, filler breakfast to eat in the centre of all the chocolate & cookies!
