What kind o interview questions can one ask a person who writes about court in a city paper?

I talk to a writer of court for a new paper today? What kind of questions would be bold to ask?
I would have asked:
1) What is your interest to enter this vocation?
2) What was your most intriguing moment in this position?
3) Any recommendations you might have to up and coming journalists?

Tonight, Cohen returns to the D.C. area to headline a sold-out show at the Hyacinthine Cat. These days, it's hard to see the band in town without a little planning: The duo—Cohen and his bandmate, Eric Emm —sold out its April gig at DC9. Tanlines makes music that sounds alien, yet relatable; it couches steel drum-like sounds and bouncy synthesizer melodies in an indescribable other-worldliness.
